The Day of Strange Happenings

Some weeks ago, i encountered not 1, not 2, but 3 counts of strange happenings in 1 day. So much so that i knew i have to blog it some day when i'm free.....

Strange Happening #1 : Couple 'steaming' in car
It was broad daylight! It was raining heavily! Wonder if this couple thinks the heavy rain will hide their 'activity' in their car? i never quite imagine that they would dare to do it outside a prison institution! Did they think the most dangerous place is also the safest place? Felt so pai-seh when i saw it! Alright, if u r thinking of asking whether i have seen anything more sensational - no. The clothes were on. And I am glad. A colleague whom i sms said i should have taken a pix and sent to STOMP!

Strange Happening #2 : Socks for Clowns
Have you ever purchase a pair of socks that's packed together but turned out to be 1 longer than the other when you wear them? That was what happened to me! I bought the socks as the rain wet part of my shoes and socks. Needed a pair of new socks anyway so went to get it at a nearby megastore.
Was really upset at the store for selling such stuff! The service staff who attended to me didn't help either. She kept insisting that i have worn one side wrong, even though i have taken my feet off my shoes to show her. After my outburst, she gave up and asked me to take off the socks, walked with her (a long distance) to show her manager. You mean you still expect me to walk around half the store barefooted?! Or inserted my now dried feet into my damp shoes again?! By then, I reached my limit. I grabbed the receipt back from her and stormed off. I wanted to forget the whole thing but when I thought of having to buy another pair of socks just to fit the other side, I felt indignant! Why should I pay extra for the mistake of the store!?! So, I traced the manager who thankfully handled customers better. She brought me back to the socks dept and upon seeing my socks of different length, changed for me. She was also puzzled by the 'clown' socks. I thanked her and added that I did not meant to be a nasty customer to the other staff, but she really needed to learn how to handle customers better!
It was a waste of time. Nevertheless, i am glad i fighted for my right.

Strange Happening #3 : Man in Woman's Clothing
Was browsing some clothing in a ladies boutique when I saw from the corner of my eye the Malay boutique lady coming towards me. The voice shocked me. I looked and realised the face looked every inch a man! And the arms are so thick.. how can it be of a woman's? Alright, i got the Malay part right but not the gender. I held my composure. He (or she) did provided good customer service. And I have not shown any discrimination, for in the end, I bought a skirt. No lar, it was not out of fear I made the purchase; it was a planned purchase from the start.
